Help Center
ByDuty Support
Help with your account, mobile app, permissions, and organization-managed workflows.
For emergencies
ByDuty support is not an emergency service or dispatch center. If there is immediate danger or a police, fire, or medical emergency, contact local emergency services and follow your organization’s emergency procedures.
In-app SOS and duress features send alerts according to your organization’s configuration. They are not a replacement for emergency services.
Contact support
Email [email protected] for help with the ByDuty platform or mobile app.
Include your organization name, your role, the app version and device type, what you expected to happen, what happened instead, and the steps that reproduce the problem. Screenshots can help, but remove personal or sensitive information that is not needed to investigate the issue.
Never email your password, sign-in code, biometric identifier, payment-card number, or other secret credential.
Email ByDuty SupportAccount and sign-in
- Confirm that you are using the organization code and email address supplied by your organization.
- Check your connection, close and reopen the app, then try again.
- Use the available password-reset option if your account uses a ByDuty password.
- Contact your organization administrator for invitations, role changes, site access, or an account managed through single sign-on.
App and device troubleshooting
- Install the latest available ByDuty version and restart the app.
- Review device permissions for location, notifications, camera, microphone, and NFC when the workflow requires them.
- Allow queued offline work to synchronize after a reliable connection returns.
- For QR, NFC, patrol, or checkpoint problems, confirm that the correct site and assignment appear in the app before retrying.
Organization-managed information
Your employer or other organization controls most operational settings and records. Contact its administrator or supervisor about:
- Shifts, sites, assignments, roles, and access permissions.
- Clock-in, timesheet, pay, expense, payroll, or invoice records.
- Patrol routes, checkpoints, post instructions, incidents, and dispatch tasks.
- Workplace location monitoring, biometric workflows, compliance notices, and consent requirements.
Privacy and account deletion
Read the ByDuty Privacy Notice for details about data handling and your choices.
If an account-removal control is available for your role, you can submit a deletion request from the app. You can also email an account-deletion request. We may need to verify your identity.
For workforce records controlled by your organization, including access, correction, deletion, or export requests, contact the organization administrator first. ByDuty may refer the request to that organization.
Security concerns
If you believe an account is compromised or you discover a security issue, notify your organization administrator and email [email protected]. Do not include passwords, access tokens, or unnecessary personal data.
